Do I need Kubernetes to use ApexKube?
Yes. ApexKube manages the Kubernetes clusters you already run. It doesn't replace Kubernetes or run your workloads for you.
Is this a replacement for the tools I already use?
No. It sits in front of them. ApexKube is built on Headlamp, the open-source Kubernetes UI, and your existing kubectl and dashboards keep working. It adds the shared layer for managing many clusters and controlling access, rather than replacing what you have.
Does ApexKube create clusters for me?
No. It manages the clusters you already have by connecting them to the console. Creating new clusters is out of scope. ApexKube is about access, visibility, and control across the clusters you already run.
What else do I need in my infrastructure?
A Kubernetes cluster, and a small ApexKube agent installed in it. The agent connects outward, so nothing in your cluster needs to be exposed.
What happens when someone leaves the team?
Remove them once and their access is gone from every cluster.
What does Improwised see?
Only metadata about your clusters, such as names, versions, and health. Your workloads and their data stay in your clusters.
How do I try it?
